November 6 – Election Day

As Americans it is one our greatest freedoms to go to the polls every 4 years to re-elect or remove a President. There are many countries in the world where “the people” never have that opportunity or privilege. Elections are a type of house cleaning. We can either keep the same people we have in office or we can eliminate some of them and elect new people into office (Senators, Congresspersons, Governors, etc.). It’s completely our choice. Remember nobody ever loses an election except the candidate, because when the people speak (with their votes), ¬†freedom has been served and everyone wins!

Please remember to take the time to vote this year. If you think your vote doesn’t count, just remember that George Bush only beat Al Gore by 600 or so votes in the 2004 election.
